My Story

I thought raising money was the goal.

If investors believed in your idea, you made it.

Funding meant success.

Then I saw someone winning without it.

No presentations. No pitching. No long hours.

But investors still showed up at his door every day.

While I chased them, they chased him.

That changed how I worked.

Because I was wrong.

People don’t give money to ideas.

They invest with certain kinds of people.

People who can solve problems for 10 or 10,000 people without working more hours.

That’s when it clicked.

Raising money isn’t the goal.

Solving problems with technology is the goal.

I immediately became obsessed with using technology to help people.

And once people saw I could solve problems with technology, everything changed.

People started reaching out to me.

No more chasing.

Like the opportunity to become a professional software at Shopify.

I wrote code that still helps Shopify store owners around the world today.

And I’ve been solving problems for more people without working more hours ever since.
