My Story
I thought raising money was the goal.
If investors liked your idea, you made it.
Then I saw someone become successful without it.
No pitching. No long hours.
But investors still showed up at his door every day.
While I chased them, they chased him.
That changed everything.
So I took a second look at the ideas investors gave money to.
That’s when it clicked.
No one gives money to ideas.
They invest in certain kinds of people.
Those who can solve problems for 10 or 10,000 people without working more hours.
The goal isn’t money. It’s solving problems with technology.
When others saw I could solve problems with technology, everything changed.
Opportunities started coming to me.
No more chasing. No more pitching. No more long hours.
Like the opportunity to become a professional software engineer at Shopify.
I wrote code that still helps Shopify store owners around the world today.
And I’ve been solving problems for more people ever since.
